This has been the policy of the kings in the past and the politicians in the present times.When, you look at the world, it seems to be divided into infinite parts. First, you find the earth being divided into hundreds of nations and thousands of provinces. Then you find the people divided on the basis of religion, race, sex, caste, age, language, profession, wealth, power and such countless basis created by man. The world seems to be divided into as many parts as the number of people and all of them fighting with each other for survival and domination.The rulers have profited tremendously from the divisions and conflicts as it is only by divide and rule, they could virtually usurp all power and wealth of the people just like the monkey did in the fable. If anyone tries to unite the people, they oppose him with tooth and nail as their existence is in danger. After all, if the people are united and conflicts are eliminated, then there would be no place for rulers.Some people have been benefited from the divisions and the divisions created conflict and when people fought for their survival, the fittest only could survive. So everybody put in their best effort in winning the conflict and thus become stronger and stronger by eliminating the weak. Yet the man lost happiness in the process as no amount of power and wealth can compensate for the sufferings they gave by defeating the fellow human beings who were weak and poor yet the offspring of the same God.Rules that do not make SenseWe get so used to the observance of the rules that we start questioning them. If you question, you would find every rule questionable. Why should there be nations and States? Why should there be many Gods and religions? Why must some people live in palatial houses, while millions sleep on street? Why must only a male child inherit and not a female child? Why must a poor not use the property of a person who have excess? If one starts questioning, one can see the hollowness of logic behind every social or legal law. Yet rules and laws exist in every civilized society so that rich can become richer and poor must always remain poor so that they can serve the riches. If anyone try to break the law, he is treated a criminals and sought to be removed from the society by putting him behind the bar or even by killing him in accordance with law.A Rebel called ArtistMost people never question the rules of the world, as they have accepted the discriminations as reality that is must for the society. They are so accustomed to these rules that often most people resist anyone who breaks the law even for the good of the society. The prosecution of Jesus or Gandhi is the examples.However, some people are born to defy the rules of the world as they can understand the laws of the divine and hence challenge the laws made by men. They question everything made by man as they are able to see the thoughts of the God. They see the reality as it is and not from the lenses of the civilization and books. A person devoid of purity can't be an artist as he can never understand the thoughts of God. Picasso said"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." While, a child is a natural artist, he lacks the capability of expression. He knows the truth but he lacks the communication skill. An artist has to unlearn all the worldly knowledge, before his heart can become as pure as a child because only from a pure person comes the pure thoughts.
